Description
- Cleans and frees sticking vanes of the variable turbo
- Removes deposits (oil and unburned fuel particles) from the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC)
- Has a good cleaning effect on the EGR valve
- Improves combustion and reduces soot emissions
- Restores engine power
Direction
- Apply one bottle to a minimum of 40 litres of diesel fuel
- For best result, use in every 3rd tank of fuel
- Bottle is also suitable for capless fuel fillers
What does a turbo do?
The purpose of the diesel turbo is to force air into the combustion chamber of the engine allowing more fuel and therefore better combustion and performance, this allows diesel engines to be smaller yet more powerful and efficient.
In modern engines the diesel turbo is highly engineered and operates at extremely high temperatures. Todays turbochargers use van technology which allows vanes to move the turbo blades. When these vanes start to get a build up of deposits they can cause the vanes to stick affecting the performance of the turbo.
This often results in loss of performance, over or under boost and can lead to car going into Limp mode or even breakdown which can result in expensive repairs.
